Undergraduate Research Opportunities

Ben Lomond Snow Core-Main Content ImageThe Department of Atmospheric Sciences encourages all students to complete an undergraduate research project prior to graduation. Department policy dictates that students are either paid for the time that they spend doing research for a faculty member or that they receive college credit (as a technical elective or capstone experience), but not both.  Research opportunities are usually restricted to juniors and seniors.  Students interested in performing an undergraduate research project need to arrange a meeting with one or more of the faculty members to find out what opportunities might be available.
